The Controller at a Glance

  • Who the controller is: the operator of the fortuna-bonus.cz website.
  • Which data it is responsible for: personal data processed through this website.
  • How to reach it: by email at contact@fortuna-bonus.cz, whether you have a question or a request under the GDPR.

The Data We Work With

Processing of personal data on fortuna-bonus.cz is kept to the necessary minimum. We need data only to keep the website running and protected, to understand its traffic and to reply to your emails. This covers:

  • access information, i.e. time, URLs visited, IP address, device, browser and operating system;
  • cookies, summarised in the cookies section below;
  • enquiry data from messages sent to contact@fortuna-bonus.cz, for example your email address, the message content or a signature.

Neither data of Fortuna players nor information on gambling, identity verification or payments are processed by this website.

Sharing Data with Other Parties

Personal data may be made accessible only to recipients needed for operating the website and for analytical services:

  • Operation, availability and security of the website are handled by hosting and CDN providers, who may therefore come into contact with the data.
  • Traffic statistics are processed by web analytics providers so that the website's performance can be optimised.

Specific provider names are given only if they are publicly identifiable within the website. Data are not transferred to unverified entities or to third parties without a legal ground.

If the Provider Is Based Outside the EU

Will your data leave the EU/EEA? That depends on which services the website uses.

  • Yes, if the website uses, for analytical purposes, a tool from a provider based outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. The transfer is then based on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, which protect the data at an adequate level.
  • No, if the website uses no service outside the EU/EEA.

Rights Under the GDPR and Czech Law

The GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. grant you rights that can be divided according to what they concern.

Rights concerning the data themselves: access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR), correction of inaccuracies (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure or the “right to be forgotten” under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, and portability (Art. 20 GDPR) for data that we process automatically on the basis of consent or a contract.

Rights concerning the way of processing: restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR) and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that preceded it.

Where and How to Apply

If you wish to exercise one of your rights, just write to contact@fortuna-bonus.cz. You will receive the controller's response without undue delay, and at the latest 30 days after the request is delivered. The exception is complex requests, or situations where several arrive at once: the period can then be extended by two more months, and we will let you know.

Supervisory Authority

A complaint about processing of personal data that you believe infringes the law can be lodged with the supervisory authority:

  • Name: Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů)
  • Address: Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7
  • Website: uoou.cz

How We Look After Security

Security is not a one-off task. The controller therefore regularly reviews how data protection is configured and takes steps that limit the risk of unauthorised access or misuse. Its foundation is formed by organisational and technical measures corresponding to the present state of technology. Data transferred between the device and the server are protected by the HTTPS/TLS protocol.

How the Website Uses Cookies

Cookies are tiny text files that a web page stores on a visitor's device. They help keep the website functioning, allow traffic to be analysed and, where relevant, content or ads to be personalised.

Three categories of cookies

Essential cookies handle the basic functions of the website, which might not work properly without them. Under § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., no user consent is needed for them. Analytical cookies collect anonymised statistics on website use, and marketing cookies make it possible to show personalised advertising and to track user behaviour across websites. Both of these types are stored exclusively on the basis of your consent.

  • ck-consent: records your choice regarding cookie consent; the storage period follows your browser settings.

Managing cookies in your browser

In Google Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, and finally Cookies and other site data. In Firefox, the route leads through Options to Privacy & Security, where you will find Cookies and Site Data. Safari offers Manage Website Data under Privacy in its Preferences. In Microsoft Edge, choose Settings, Cookies and site permissions, and then Cookies and site data. Further details on managing and blocking cookies are in the help section of the browser concerned.

Revision of the Policy

The wording of this privacy and cookies policy may change over time. The reason is usually new or amended legislation, or a different way in which the website processes data. If a change is substantial, the controller will announce it on the website. It is therefore advisable to look through the valid version every so often.
